Not for the bank holiday but we have a week booked at Watermouth Valley near Ilfracombe from the 9th.

First camping trip in almost 3 years, the children are very excited and we have had all our gear out to check and wash the cutlery etc.

Just the drive that concerns me a little - we are in Manchester. Hope the kids fall asleep for a bit!

No, never been before.

Really looking forward to it, i will be there with my hubby and 2 teen daughters!

They have recently  updated their website, lol put on the entertainment for the week, and  Monday night , there is a  Lady GaGa tribute.........lol

I will be spending most of my time in the outside pool hopefully!!!

Given the weather forecast, we've had an afternoon sleeping around the campsite, and a days walking without needing waterproofs. OK, we're in the tent, not sat outside, but nice and cozy with a glass of vino.

If the wind doesn't change direction I will need to put our windbreak up to cook tomorrow's dinner.

That's great Bev, hope the weather keeps up for you. Andy we're just back from our long weekend at Point Sands and not a drop of rain in sight, it was Fab! Like you though very windy and we had to put windbreak up. Our trusty heater also gave up the ghost but not til the last night. Enjoy evryone who is still camping
