I am considering doing something I thought I would never do......... buy a smaller tent for the weekends, something that can be put it by myself and sleep one adult and two teenagers.
Has anyone any suggestions as it took us long enough to buy the large family tent and I really have no idea where to start.
------------- Rain drops keep falling on my head..........
I am the same trying to find something I can pitch myself but something that will fir three boxers
------------- Please be patient new to all this camping stuff

We have a gelert utah 4x4 and its a fantastic tent,i can put it up on my own in about 20 mins, and very stable, but you have to look hard to find them, but due to having a knee op we have had to get the airbeam for this year.i can put that up in 10mins on my own, with one leg.small tents are ok,but you can get some very quick pitch and decent size ones, that pop up family tent from decathalon looked good, but i think a bit on the cramped size for me.its good to have a reason to get another tent.good luck
we had a couple of 6 man and bought a Virginia 5 - OH can put this up on his own (even I could if I wanted to) we use this tent for the weekends excellent tent
Vango Tigris 400 is a simple tunnel design - there are some bargains to be had on 2011 models as the new 2012 range has a longer living area and is called the Tigris 400xl.
I like tunnel shaped tents as they are easy to erect on your own once you work out a sensible solo routine.
I can pitch my Licata 400 on my own (I'm a short, fat, unfit mum of 3) in about 10-15 minutes. Absolutley LOVE this tent and of the 7 I own, this is definately the one that gets the most use.
