I am considering doing something I thought I would never do......... buy a smaller tent for the weekends, something that can be put it by myself and sleep one adult and two teenagers.
Has anyone any suggestions as it took us long enough to buy the large family tent and I really have no idea where to start.

Had a Hi Gear Gobi 4 for 3 yrs and managed to pitch that by myself...Good for 2-3 people max....

Vango Tigris 400 is a simple tunnel design - there are some bargains to be had on 2011 models as the new 2012 range has a longer living area and is called the Tigris 400xl.
I like tunnel shaped tents as they are easy to erect on your own once you work out a sensible solo routine.

I can pitch my Licata 400 on my own (I'm a short, fat, unfit mum of 3) in about 10-15 minutes.
Absolutley LOVE this tent and of the 7 I own, this is definately the one that gets the most use.
