  And continuing with the thread of camping in North Yorkshire, we were at Pear Tree Farm at Harton, near York.  Boy was it cold Friday night, after setting up, foolishly let myself get cold, then couldn't sleep.

  So Saturday night and last night, the thermals under the jammies came on at tea time before it got too cold.  And hot water bottles, although it was positively barmy last night in comparison.

  Although sat out on the lovely sunny mornings, that were suprisingly warm, drinking tea and having breakie.

I was up in Moffat for the weekend. Freezing cold overnight and the dog had the runs so was up with him 2 or 3 times during the night for 2 nights. Couldn't get warm again after the tramp around the site at 3 o'clock in the morning despite being layered up. On the bright side, the moon was beautiful!

(apologies for the italics - I've knocked something on the new to me laptop and can't get them off)

Forgot to say, we didnt have EHU with our -5 temp in Northumberland ! Hope its warmer in a few weeks.
