I've just spent £89 on a coolbox!!!

I didn't have £89 to spend on a coolbox in the first place!!  Oh well. I got one of those Icey-Tek ones that are supposed to keep things cool for up to 11 days. After my last trip where my cheapy coolbox couldn't even keep my milk cold overnight when the temperatures were sub zero and I even had ice blocks in there, I knew it was time to get a new one.  

Can't wait to get it, I've wanted one for weeks!!

I went for the 24 litre as there's only 2 of us. I take most of our food pre-cooked and frozen so it's easy to reheat on a trangia so this should be great!

We're going away in June for 6 nights so I get to test it out pretty soon - excited!!!

My problem with keeping stuff cool was the only thing tempting me towards an EHU and I really didn't want to spend extra money on equipment just to keep my milk cold! (extra pitch fees, cables, equipment etc) Especially since I knew once I bought an EHU for one thing it would soon lead to a phone charger, a kettle, a heater.... I just don't have the space to pack all that stuff!! Plus I like having a break from electricity!!

Of course, thats a very important question!! I had to get white as the only colours available were white, yellow, orange and red. I wanted black though, but never mind! I have a green tent so my inner glamper told me to get green to match my tent, shelves, carpet etc but it wasn't to be lol!

That's a very good point about it being so versatile! I know you can buy seat cushions for them, but I might make one, save taking a chair

With a black and grey tent, I went for red. It's a lovely thing! I did get some funny looks from OH when I first got it - apparently stroking a coolbox is weird!

It's an illness - incurable, but treatable with regular infusions of new kit!

I'm dead jealous. I want one. I like the yellow and orange ones, but what I reallly want is a pink one.

Luckily, they don't import the pink, so I haven't succumbed yet.
