Make a sign stating that the guy ropes are wired direct to the mains and that one touch could prove fatal. Put the sign up in front of your tent and underneath it put a smaller sign stating that you are not responsible for any loss or damage.
It might not work but most parents will find it amusing enough to remind their kids to be careful.

That's okay until you come to pick them up when striking camp, you pick them up and find some dogs have left the real McCoy in amongst them!

I find a shotgun works quite well but i can make a bit of a mess
