Just wondering if anyone has any experience of reproofing a tent. I have recently had quite bad leakage in my Hi Gear Zenobia 6 and I am considering reproofing the entire tent. I'm advised that reproofing thoroughly with a top quality reproofing solution works very well and should cure my problem but I wondering if anyone else has reproofed and what the result has been.

I never personally reproofed a tent,if you have a bad leak i would look for a rip or split and repair that.Failing that i would look at getting a new tent,its much more fun.

I would take it back to go outdoors

On a polyester tent like yours the waterproof membrane is on the inside of the flysheet and therefore shouldnt leak if it does then there is something wrong with the material. The most likely place for leaks is the seams due to the stiching and these are normally sealed with tape again on the inside
Are you sure it isnt condensation as if you are using it at this time of year a lot and I mean a lot of condensation can occur
