I'd go, if we waited for dry land and dry weather we would never go anywhere. We have just been to our local campsite to pitch our tent, ground was a little squelchy but we pitched anyway and had the choice of pitch. We just about managed to get it up ok because it got very windy but before we came away it had settled down but made sure we storm pegged it well just in case. Hubby is packing trailer and going in the morning while I have to go do a days work. Excited now.

Really looking forward to it
we were at Acorn Woods not last weekend but weekend before and Heather had cancelled tents on the grass as it was that bad. Weather looking good for this weekend so think you should be fine, hope you have a lovely weekend there, we love it. That reminds me need to send cheque off for July

I am 15 miles away from scunny, and the weather hasnt been too bad this week. It is very very windy at the moment, and ther are occasional showers, but nothing major like there has been in the last 2 weeks. I
Were going to golden sands at mablethorpe, forcast showers tommorrow afternoon but other then that its going to be nice, i just hope the pitches arnt already boggy!
the weather here today can only be described as summery...the sky is blue, the clouds are white and fluffy and the sun is shining...fingers crossed it's the same tomorrow in the Peak District when we're having to pitch the Monty...i do not want to have to pitch that monster in the rain...!!
it's chaos here...i'm having to get everything organised by myself as the OH is at work, so i'm running around like a headless chicken cooking curry to take with us as our first night meal, chilling the coolbox, freezing ice blocks, finishing my latest DIY camping projects (only got a footstool cover left to sew now thankfully), washing and drying camping clothes and sorting thru everything else we're going to take with us...i'm going to need a holiday after this...!!
