Purplerain let me add my sentiments to those of others here. What a kind gesture, and how well it's turned out for some very nice folks who badly need a break. I got quite emotional when I read all this!

I had shingles a month ago, and know how grotty it makes you feel. And as you say, you think you're better and then it starts prickling and burning again... not nice! But I'm happy to say it doesn't last forever.

I'm fine now, and hope you will be 100% fit again soon. You certainly deserve good luck, after this lovely gesture!
