Hi everyone

I'm camping at Santa Pod at the beginning of June for my brother's stag do weekend

Just wondered if anyone had stayed there before and could let me know what to expect in the way of 'facilities'

I'm not expecting the ritz, but does anyone know if it's chemical portapotties and if it's worth taking my own or not lol

a couple of years since i last went but if i remember right round the pit side of the track there is a set of showers you can pay to use. shall be there myself on the sunday but not camping hope you lads have a good weekend

Friends of mine go 2 or 3 times a year.There are toilets and a shower block but i think the showers are expensive.Pub or club on site to.Can ask her for more info if you wish?

they do have a porta loos scattered around , but if it is busy they don,t get cleaned very often . Give them a ring

£1.50 a shower the block is in the pits.Proper chemical disposal point.Food outletts.Tesco just down the road.No dish washing faciltilies a tap on the out side of the ladies.
You do reaslise its jubilee weekend Drag racing finishing on the monday so facilitie may be limited after the racing.

That weekend will be absolutely manic. It's the Main Event drag racing championship and will be very very busy. I would definitely take your portaloo, and plenty of baby wipes just in case the showers are too busy. You will love it though, if you have never seen a Top Alcohol dragster you are in for shock, the speed and noise is just unimaginable. Some hit over 300 mph in less than 5 seconds. Fingers crossed for dry weather though, as they can only race in dry weather.

Thinking of going in Sept for the European finals.
