Well hubby just about to start loading the car, roof box and trailer for our two weeks in Weymouth. He keeps saying - I don't know where it is all going, and I keep saying the only extra things arei the loo and the dog you will manage, know doubt there will be a few chosen words in the next few hours !!! Planning on trying to get a few hours sleep and then lift our little boy about 1 and start the long 8 hour journey !! Can't wait, even the weather looks like it is hoting up.
Just finished our packing too. Two weeks on Isle of Wight requires very careful packing without a trailer or roof box. .....CAN'T WAIT..! I doubt I will sleep much tonight either
Sad I know, but i like taking a photo of how organised everything is when setting off, and comparing it to the mess and panic when it's time to come back. Dutch flood was interesting.

Just remember....Mutual respect..both in packing the car and pitching goes a long way in keeping the peace..The wee bit in the middle is fair game and anything goes as the stress of the journey kicks in...I've always found things go more smoothly if the female partner just does what shes told...And offers no comments when he gets lost through ignoring the map(or Tom Tom).....
Have a good time away...Safe journey...There and back....
