Good evening all.

Just been and bought a front awning for our Outwell Nevada M today (Go outdoors, price matched, brilliant deal). Anyways, what I want to know is. Do people like a carpet in their awning? I do like a cosy tent, and do have to have a carpet in the tent. But the awning? Its a bit different, but does have the built in groundsheet, so it is do-able.... hmmm

I don't know, whats your thoughts?

I suppose it depends what you'll be using the extension for. If its got a sewn in groundsheet then it sounds like a plan. If its not got a sig, I wouldnt risk it because it could end up soaking, filthy and ruined.

Enclosed Extension for my Icarus 500...Has a rather flimsy non sig that just sits over the flaps at the bottom...I made a footprint for it...And just put down an old g/sheet to cover the flimsy one...Cooker and stuff kept in the extension so not really bothered with a carpet in there..Sleeping pods and main living area of tent is a different matter....Like something comfy in there on a morning when you 1st get up..Hate getting out of bed and putting your feet on a cold G/sheet...

Jelboy.

Thanks everyone. You've talked me into it!

It's defiantly a SIG, with option to unzip and remove (I don't why you would). So, I guess it is a MUST!
