Having just pitched our tent to dry I have noticed a small rust stain on the outer tent (I don't know why). Are there any recommendations to remove the stain or shall I just leave it (presuming it doesn't affect the tent in any way)?

The tent is an Outwell Salinas L.

If it's not affecting performance I would tend just to leave it. Cleaning the tent would mean reproofing that part and if it doesn't need it I wouldn't do it.

Someone will probably come along and disagree with me but personally I'd leave it.

I would also leave it alone but i would check if any of the poles and especially the ring and pins are going rusty
