Our campsite for the weekend just rang - flooded

Can't fault the owner and he said he will keep the deposit for us to use whenever or refund.

Where were you supposed to be going?

We're supposed to be going to Whitby tomorrow but weather looks awful (apart from Sunday!) and eldest son currently has a temperature so we're umming and aahhing a bit!

We're off the the C&CC site at Culzean Castle. Weather looks pants but with some wellies and waterproofs we'll still have a great time

We were going the Staffordshire side of the Peak District I just rang owner to confirm cancellation and he said its not stopped raining all night and the site is even worse this morning. We will hopefully manage to go later in July (the weather can't be as bad then can it?????)

Just hope the weather holds out for us. Just packed the car and waiting for the girls to have lunch. Then off we go.
Weather is awful here in NE Highlands. Fingers crossed the NW is much better.

Had to cancel our trip too - both sons have have been slightly off it this week so it's just not worth getting cold and wet. Hope the weather improves for everyone that makes it this weekend!

We had a reasonable night on the Somerset/Devon border. Windy but wet. Dry this morning and just a breeze, quite warm when the sun comes out.
