Well my baby must love camping
We were away last week for 5 days and my 17 wk old baby never even made a noise, half the campers never realised there was a baby in the tent.
Been away again for another 6 nights and again not a peep.
Everyone said she is so quiet you would never believe you had a wee baby camping with you, she slept better in her tent than she does at home. My 6 year old on the other hand was very noisy lol, full of excitement and at the play park from first thing, even in the rain
Had the babies pop up bassinette on a sheepskin rug and it was so warm and comfy, my 6 year old sat on it whenever the baby was in her pram, so going to get another sheepskin for her, The perfect solution to insulate the baby from the ground.

We have now totally tested out our Montana Lake in all weather and i am so impressed. The weft flaw we were worried about never let a single drop of rain in. The side porch is much bigger than our monty6. Every aspect of the tent is superior to our old monty.

Great isn't it? We took my little boy camping as a baby. He is now nearly two and every time we get the camping gear out he is mega excited!
I think camping makes you a more relaxed mummy and the baby picks up on this.
With the great campsites about that have family rooms, taking babies camping is a doddle too.
Long may the camping trips continue!

Hi Anna, don't know where you are based but there are some fab baby friendly sites about- both Teversal (Mansfield) and Scarborough C and CC sites are great (plus a site in Bembridge IOW which I can't remember the name of) and there are others about when you do the searches. Maybe a recci to one of these with your husband might help?
Also with regards to sterilising bottles etc I just used a bucket with a lid and some Milton sterilising fluid. Good luck if you decide to convince your husband

Hi Anna, I combination feed. Took a sterilizer and milton tabs for bottles and cartons of aptimil baby milk, so no need to make bottles up.

As for sleeping we have one of these put a sheepskin rug under it and Eloise slept great.
Good luck bending your hubbys ear lol
