Hi, having recently been blown about in North Devon, we suffered a couple of broken poles & being daft newbies didn't realise that we only needed to replace the broken sections - we chucked away 2 complete pole sets for our Kalahari 10 Each pole was 14 sections long & 12.7mm diameter, so quite pricey to replace.
Do we need to replicate the existing poles exactly with the replacements, or can we make up the total length of the pole from less, longer sections? Also, we can't find the angled ferrules - the only ones we've seen are 13mm reducing to 11mm ones, but all the pole sections on ours are the same diameter. Go Outdoors don't do complete pole sets (which seems ridiculous to me), & said we'd be ok to replace without the angles - any opinions/advice please?
Trying to find the most economic way to do the repairs, but don't want to risk weakening the structure just to save a few quid!
Thanks for any advice; living & learning is all very well, but it can be a bit expensive
