Ok if anyone hears of a UFO flying around the oxford area then we have lost the tent as it is very windy and we have taken off so there may be 5 children and 2 adults hanging on for dear life or it could turn into the comedy of errors!!!

OMG the weather you have now will be tomorrow's weather here in Denmark, I've booked the weekend for me and my kids, and now I am afraid that there might be an UFO in Denmark too - I'll take the poly bell tent which is light enough to become a flying object.

Have you considered sandbags? You could attach them to the tent and empty them if you want to fly a bit higher, unfortunately I don't know what to do to fly lower or to land.

Well almost one the tent the kids were the weights and were being thrown all over the place !! I left it pegged in to the ground untill I tryed to roll it up ,have a torn footprint one bent poll !

I am back too - without the tent!!! It's still standing at the campsite swaying in the wind, I will be back tomorrow when the weather (I hope) is dryer and more calm. 60 extra kilometres to drive, but better that than a wet UFO flying over Denmark! The neighbour (safe and dry in a caravan) has promised to keep an eye on my tent tonight, so I hope I'll find it there tomorrow afternoon!
