Going camping tomorrow to a forest park, a few hundred yards from a coast. Today there's been flash flooding of urban areas within a few miles of the site. I haven't checked with the site yet if it's water logged or not but I still plan to go regardless.
The weather report gives it to be heavy localised showers with fair spells in between. Do I take the big canvas frame tent with no SIG or the Vango Icarus with SIG!
The canvas tent is more pleasant to be in if we're going to be stuck indoors, but the lack of sig and the fact that when I first pitch the tent it doesn't quite reach the ground will probably make it pretty drafty to be in. Yet I'm still tempted to take it. Am I mad?
