Hi all,
Wondering if anyone can help?
We done have a garage and in the past, my 3 man dome was easily dried in our spare room over a couple of chairs, however our new tent is way to big to dry in the house.
Does anyone know of any drying facilities in Surrey? Or maybe have an idea of how we can dry it without spending a fortune?
Thanks
Kate x

We dry ours by hanging it over the bannister....and have in the past hung in over the rafters in the loft. 17

Think I might have to do that too. Just wasn't sure what to do with it, didn't know if there were drying facilities anywhere. Seems the best way is the bannister. Thank you x

We lay ours over the sofa in the middle of the living room overnight, that usually does the trick. We put a plastic decorators sheet over the sofa first of course!!!!

I've just hung our largest section over the bannister and the smaller section is over an airer in the dining room. Its the worst bit about camping !

Ive spent 4 days turning our folded wet tent to dry the different areas in the conservatory with the windows open and towels on the floor! It has worked though, and we packed it up today.

I spent a lot of yesterday cleaning off the 4 groundsheets (the 2spares got used too) aswell, and this morning was putting the stuff away.

It's definitely the worst part!

We dried our complette TT canvas in 8 hours (3 for cabin, 5 for awning)

We put our dining chairs on the dining table & draped the canvas over with a fan heater & normal cold air fan underneath the table. It was really quick & simple, WE DID REMOVE ALL GUY ROPES though as these neede to be dried seperately as they dry quite slowly17

Now that's a good idea! Chairs on the table. My only concern is that I have a SIG so what's the best way do you think? Ground sheet down? Or try and open it up somehow?

I would just drape it over the chairs & table & fill it with warm air, thats what we did with the canvas

we have always draped over table with a chair on top but that is non sig. New tent has a sig so I was planning on moving the table out of the room, opening up the tent and standing all of the chairs inside it to let the air flow through.

I suppose I could just get the OH to stand in the tent in the dining room and hold it up whilst I move the table and chairs inside it.

Think the cats might have a whale of a time in it though so have to make sure it is tiddler proof :)
