Hello everyone, just wanted to say hi before I hit you with a deluge of questions! Just invested in a tent and equipment and now looking forward to our first attempt. Looking at he weather this could be some time!

Hi Cornish Camper and welcom.

I've a foot in each camp I'm afraid, tenter and also tin tenter 17.

Just make sure your sleeping arrangements are good, comfortable and warm and everything else will take care of itself.  You'll find loads of tips on the threads.

Thanks all. We may be trying it all out on a friends farm at Talland Bay this weekend. Hope to try a site over at Hope Cove in Devon very soon. We live on the Cornwall/Devon border so have lots of sites within an hour. The kids have just reached a controllable age so hopefully will really enjoy it. They are very excited. (As are we).
