Today forecast for where I live should of been rain all day again, but it has been sunny all day and mostly blue sky . Just show how wrong the forecast can be.

Has anyone seen the sun when the weather man said it should of be raining. Can't wait for my hoildays in just over a week to go.

Just phoned the campsite where i am camping to pay for extra nights and as I was on there just asked what's the weather like and guess what it's nice and sunny, just two showers today lasting in total for three minutes. If you check he forecast for Cornwall near Newquay it's severe weather warning and the campsite is fine.

I have weather bug on my phone. It's mostly wrong. i listen to the weather forecasts on the tv/radio this week alone they have changed their tune so many times i've lost count. For instance on Monday Thursday was supposed to be heavy rain now they are saying it could be the best day of the week. On my weather bug Saturday was suppose to be a wash out and that's changing day by day. They just don't know imo. They cover themselves by saying sunshine and showers and breezy.

I can usualy forcast it better by my barometer

I live 6 miles from Newquay and have been waiting for dry weather to get the tent out and dry off from my hols - it has been on and off heavy showers all day - took dog for walk at Crantock beautiful sunshine - completely different weather 6 miles difference

we have had rain forecast all week here in Swansea , it rained last Friday afternoon and its been fine until today its raining here now , 2 of the days i have been sat in my garden in shorts soaking up the sun

We listened to the weather man last week, and postponed our maiden weekend on the strength of his forecast. It turned out a pretty half decent weekend, and we were miffed, to put it mildly!!
Apparently the rain currently in the SW is heading towards us here in the Midlands, and will reach us tonight.
We have decided to ignore it, and we have just confirmed our very first camp site booking, and will be arriving around 6pm tomorrow, for two nights...... we may have to pitch in it, which I'd prefer not to, obviously, but the wait is killing us!!
The rest of the weekend looks better than it has been for a while up here, so we are now officially excited!

Unfortunately, you may be inundated with lots of pics of our boring, straight tunnel tent early next week, with action pics of the kettle in full steam, or something similarly inspirational, but that's the price you pay for allowing me on here!!

Bloody excited, I tell yer......

We've just come back from 4 nights camping in Grizedale, and the weather couldn't have been any better! It was forecast rain almost every day, but it was nothing but blue skies and glorious sunshine whilst we were there. It did shower once or twice, but it only lasted about 10 mins.

We were all set for a soggy and cold week away, and I'm sat here with a sun tan

It seems that the world is upside down! It hasn't been great on the South Coast. I'm off camping the week after next and am going anyway.
