Finally get to use my new tent.
Got a huge sunncamp palace a couple of months ago after my faithful vango gave up the ghost !
Going to manor farm nr Cromer for 5 days on sat then off to Abergavenny for 4 days the week after.
Only thing I'm not sure about is the fact it's my first camping hol without a SIG for many years, got a huge groundsheet for the living area this week and some big picnic rugs, so should be cosy.
The living area of the palace is 4M x3M so looking forward to all the space. And the weather looks good too !
Will take lots of pics of new set up .

Excellent - have loads of fun! It's a lovely part of the world (we were just outside Pontrailas (just on the other side of the border) last week - it was lovely!

Car loaded, roof box on and loaded,trailer packed and all in the pouring rain !!
Hope that's all the rain we get in the next 5 days as I look like a drowned rat at the moment :-)

Back from 4 days in Norfolk,very sunny then 3 days in Wales very wet !!
Glad to say tent is totally waterproof ! But looking forward to sleeping on a decent bed lol .

Know what you mean about looking forward to your own bed. Always feel like that even if I've been away in a 'proper' bed.

Hope you enjoy. We have just brought our new tent to hopefully complete the whole equipment purchases. We ended up buying the High Gear Colado 4 as theres only the 2 of us it looks ample for our needs. Cant wait to get out there and join the rest of you lovely people and look forward to lots of inexpensive holidays and short breaks now that the initial outlay is done.
