On a recent long weekend away in our Wynnster Marseille 9 I became obsessed with the muddy footprints on the groundsheet in the porch area. Although it was easily cleaned up I got to thinking that if I had some kind of porch extension I could get people to take their shoes of before entering the tent (I know it sounds quite sad but I like a clean tent). Looking around the internet there doesn’t seem to be a specific extension for the Marseille so I am considering a 3m x 3m gazebo. Anyone got any other ideas/suggestions please?
Why not take the measurements of the front of the tent and see if you can get a similar sized canopy from one of the other tent manufacturers. We use an Outwell canopy made for another tent on all three of our family size tents and it fits all three perfectly. Might be a different colour but it'll do the job. One thing to consider is how it'd fit on a standard pitch, but thats only an issue if you go to sites that have restricted pitches.

One thing to be aware of is that many site do not allow gazebos. Might be better, as mentioned above, to see if you can find an extension made by another manufacturer that you could use to add a bit of extra space. However this will make your tent even bigger which may pose a problem on some sites.
I have an extension on the front of my Icarus, but in effect, use that (fully enclosed) extension as a continuation of the main tent, so still end up with the same problem at the "front door". I went for the tarp shelter over the door, and those interlocking foam mats at the threshold (but outside/off the GS), and I must say, it worked spiffingly!!
Other than that, no I can't help you, but I can assure you that you are not alone, in our continuing battle to rid all sites from the wet/muddy footprints on groundsheet scenario!!
And don't even think about getting me started on wet clumps of freshly cut grass!!!
