We should be going away tomorrow for a week and due to a health problem that I have my hubby isn't keen to go. Even if I manage to talk him round, the 5 day forecast is bad. Lots of rain, lightening on Saturday and. It a day thats completely dry.
What would u do? Would you go regardless of weather or would having a 7 & 9yr old with u make u think twice?
i would still go.Have you had a look for what there is to do locally for the children.Dont forget the leaflets in reception.
You have all the right equipment? I would rather be camping then at work.
We're off to Wales on Saturday! Yes it's going to rain, yes I have a 10year old and a5 year old!
We will cope we find things to do and we have a dog too!
I work damn hard don't have many weekends off ,so we ain't gonna left a bit of rain heavy or not to spoil our holiday!
Yes it might be wet when we pack up but hey ho!
Get yourselves gone ,and overall I've looked at different forecast some show some sunny days
Go it might just get better!

Hopefully somewhere for a weekend in Sept
I would go. I went away on Monday for one night with a friend and our kids, and we nearly didn't go as the forecast for Tuesday was heavy rain yet it barely rained at all, and we were able to pack everything away dry.
I would have been annoyed if we hadn't gone, the forecast always seems to predict the worst it may be and quite often it's not that bad,
We're off to Cornwall on Saturday for 2 weeks and I'm going whatever the weather! Weve got 4 children and I'm sure we'll have a great time and make the most of it ll!

We (Myself, Hubby and Son 7&1/2) are off to Cornwall too!!(St Austell) on Saturday for 10 nights and the weather can do what it wants!
At the end of the day, it's camping! So take the the rough with the smooth. Be prepared for any conditions. It makes for a more relaxed and enjoyable trip.
Never forget why it is you like camping in the first place; unless you camp abroad for your holidays & are guarenteed Sun and heat! Us Brits are a hardy bunch and can make the most of anything when we put our minds to it!!!!!!!
Get yourself sorted and I bet you'll have a ball in the end! The kids will love it.

Longing to be camping somewhere......anywhere...
I would go what ever the weather. We are off the 17th for 10 nights, with 2 kids 5 and 9, plus another family. we are all going what ever the weather.
That is what camping is about rain, frost, sunshine, cold you just need to be prepared for the daily weather changes. Go and enjoy yourself and dont worry about the weather.
Remember kids love to splash in the puddles, take loads of pics.
