Hi the staining you have there looks like the canvas has not been thoroughly enough this has happened to my Conway cruiser I just waited for the canvas to dry then treated it with fabsil problem sorted hope this helps
is it evenly spaced or in one particular area? From the pattern of the stain it certainly looks like a liquid has been spilled on the tent...I'm thinking kids bubble mixture or similar?
Has something touched it, a plant perhaps that's left some resin??
We have a similar patch on the wall of our Relum, After trying to fathom it for ages, I've come to the conclusion that it's where my head touches the canvas when I sit in my chair. I use hair gel, and I think the canvas has absorbed some, which has in turn affected the waterproofness (is that even a word??)
Fabsil sorted it....and I moved the chair further away from the wall!
The stain looks like a couple of little squashed fairies to me! Anyone else like Brian Froud's art.....

Thank you to all the stain-namers on ukcampsite, it's been a pleasure recieving all your entries and more importantly advice about using fabisil! (I've never used it and wasn't sure about painting one bit of the canvas thinking it would discolour it!!)
So... Thanks again, I never got around to giving it a sniff as was scared of seeing another thread entitled something like "now I've seen it all, a man smelling his own canvas" or somesuch if I was seen sniffing!
Cheers everyone,
Happy stain free camping
