Can anyone recommend a good quality cooker stand that folds up small? As is the norm we have very little space in the car what with two kids, 2 and five months and all the gubbins that comes with them and a Labrador! Thanks!

No advice but following with interest: looking for something small with a windguard myself.

I would recommend Kampa's range of cooker stands, however, I would not consider them as being "small" when packed.

My Sergeant Camp Kitchen Larder has the packed size of about the same as my cheapo Aldi concertina kitchen stand.

It has 3 storage shelves in the zipped up larder, plus a shelf for the cooker, with windshield.

Solidly built and easy to set up.

For something smaller, have a look at the Outwell Regina camp kitchen, and the others in their range.

I use a retro style concertina stand. It's pretty flat and neat when folded down. Heavy too, which is fine as I don't cart it around, and the weight makes it nice and stable when up.

Edit - I like the look of the stand that DK uses, for me it's a space issue. I'm buying a new car after I get back from next week's camping trip, so maybe I can think about treating myself.

Thanks all, DK, yours looks fab but I think will be a bit big, looked at the kampa range and they do a smaller one too like the one Frogdropping mentions, just concerned they may be a bit flimsy. Will have to go and try some out I think!

Hago kitchen stands fold up really small with a windshield. Heavy but pack size small, good and sturdy when up. I have them in 2 colour ways .
I also have a 'modern' one which is far bigger pack size.
