Hi there,

Could anyone recommend a product that would get grease out of a tent. The tent is a quechua base tent, not sure of the exact material, but we had a bbq not long back. I have just got the tent out and noticed grease stains near the door opening.

I would probably leave it alone as you risk spreading it by cleaning

If you can't live with it, you could try a solution of soap flakes or this product, but don't use washing powder or washing-up liquid.

I got grease on the door of my tent - spoke to the good people at Yeomans who suggested using neat tech wash on both sides and then rinsing with lots of clean water.  Did it once and hey presto it vanished!

This happened to me last year when some grease from my tow bar got on the tent.

Wiped off excess and washed with water and then left.

Whilst on hols this past 2 weeks I treated the area with some Nikwax spray as I was aware this bit of the tent was absorbing the rain, and this restored it's waterproofness.
