we're going to Norfolk for the weekend tomorrow - hope the rain holds off. Only taking the small tent though so it will dry out better than our big one.
------------- keep on caravanning, life is too short
Hi all, Just seen that the weather is looking good for the weekend so we are off to a site in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The two girls don't know that we are going.
Andy
I'm hoping to go to West Wales to try out my new tent. Not sure where yet but it'll more than likely be one of several sites close to beaches and being a solo camper I can even take a last minute detour if the fancy takes me :)
Yippee - have cancelled b&b and am going to Barn Farm between Bakewell and Matlock for a couple of nights, meeting friends in Nottingham on Saturday. A two night break is better than none!
------------- Always edited for sloppy typing - when I spot it!
Forecast seems to be fairly good for this weekend and next week. I'm so glad I didn't go on bank holiday. Quieter campsites and sunshine, what more could you want? It's only going to be around 18 degrees in Wales but I'm glad of it. I take medication which makes me sweat like hell so I'll be enjoying some nice autumnal temperatures.

Us (again), 9th September to Pembrokeshire, with a stopover at Hortham Farm en route. Where in Wales are you going Freebird?
Anne
Sorry, only just saw your post, Anne. Busy packing the car and trailer. We're going to this well known brilliant camp site in God's own Valley in Powys, close to Builth Wells.
Going to Holmsley in the New Forest this weekend! Its only a few miles away from home but will feel like miles away. Going to pare down the kit as we don't normally do less than 3 nights, not done this beofre so should be interesting.
