Hi, i have noticed a few tents using fairy lights they seem pretty good for lighting a big area so i am thinking of getting some. Can anyone recomend where i can find a decent set? They would be for the inside of a Corado6.
We bought some solar ones from Amazon - Powerbee Endurance - after getting advice on another forum. They were quite pricey £17 for 100 but were FABULOUS when we used them on our recent camping trip. Definitely seemed worth the investment.
b&m are selling a string of 100 pink solar ones for 1.99 - they are actually really bright and work better than they should for 1.99!
for anyone who has bought / buys solar powered lights, they nearly all use the solar energy to charge a battery which then powers the lights when its dark.
the battery is likely to be a cheapy one, and they dont last forever. if your lights die, dont throw them out, change the re-chargeable battery for a new rechargeable battery and they shud be good to go for another season!

I bought some solar powered ones a while go from ebay for a few pounds, which were initially really bright, and then decided not to work. However ours have socket where providing you have the right adaptor can charge via electricity. Was not sure that it would work, but charged them for a couple of hours a fortnight ago, and they are working perfectly now
