I don't have one, it's on my wish list. According to the reviews it takes 3 D batteries. It's well reviewed on Amazon too.

Invaluable imo, especially if you need to do something fiddly in the dark. They're also great for reading by.

It's worth looking in builders' merchants for these. Mine were £5 each and work really well.
