Well guys we're back from our first camping trip....and it was fabulous. We went to Riverside Paddock on the Isle of Wight (which is a brililant adult only site based between Newport and Cowes). We were all set up within an hour (ish) of arriving on Saturday and then cycled down to Cowes to get some food (and more importantly wine!). Had a fab holiday going round Isle of Wight (just the usual places - zoo, vineyward, miltary museum (not my choice!) and such). Weather was totally fabulous - hot and sunny most of the time. Had one small issue with the airbed - it leaked! Woke up on Sunday morning sleeping on the floor so we had to make a detour to Argos to get a new one. We were only there until Wednesday but it was such fun. We managed to get the tent down and everything packed away in about an hour and half - and more amazingly everything fitted back in its bags! Thinking of New Forest for next trip. xx
