Shame you've had to part with your tents but the free space must be good...and and presume you're enjoying an ensuite and not having to wear a woolly hat in bed!
Thanks for you help/advice when I was purchasing my little De Waard....used her properly for a full two weeks holiday this summer and it was great.

Oh no. Have you got rid of your lovely tents without posting them on here?
We only have one left and I really am struggling to let her go. I spent a few years looking for this particular tent and now we have one she has to go again.. heartbreaking !
I guess I should make an effort and let the world see the beauty that she is :)

but it's not life after camping is it? You have a tent, you are curious about what the weather will be like next summer. You have simply had a hiatus
No doubt whatsoever. The only reason we still have one tent is that it took me 5 years to find it, it is truly gorgeous (Dutch, canvas, pyramid and Esvo) and I am struggling to part with her. Sad or what lol. Due to circumstances beyond our control, there will be no more camping for us :(
This situation might come to us all one day - how reassuring to hear that there's a life after camping! Since I had a life before camping too, I never really doubted there could be a life after...
Enjoy all the free space in the house - and don't get tempted to fill it with too much other stuff...
