Yes, we had a great time - can't resist posting a pic on my little Elzas (Elsie) on her first proper camping trip with me - and the humongous Cabanon windbreak saw it's first campsite

Hi Mucker ,
Yes that is me on the far left, no riff raf there at all !!!! Just nice large pitches.
Foster mum - your picture , the bunting makes your tent look like she is either sleeping on blinking, shadowed onto the canvas.
------------- DOZY
Life should not be measured by the amount of breaths we take but the moments that take your breath away.

Oi Mucker, who are you calling riff raff!!!
Whoops!!
Don't think it's even worth attempting to worm my way out of this one, is it?
Nice tent, Fostermum. Although I suspect it's a little "too exclusive" for me, as I really am riff-raff!!
That windbreak is immense! I'd be tempted to sell my tent for that, and just snuggle up behind it!!!
Does the heart good for this camper who, for reasons beyond her control, has not spent a single night under canvas this year... YET! Still the rest of October and two more months to go...
Mucker - too right - you certainly can't wriggle out of that one
FoO - I know how you feel - this was my first camp since February which is why I enjoyed it so much - well, we did have a litttle get together at Easter in my garden - and I've spent more than a few nights on my own garden camping
Hope you get away somewhere soon.

can i jump in and ask where you went?, we were on the isle of white for this week....and tbh the weather put pay to us going back :(...60-70 mph winds on thursday, rain and winds upto that since monday when we arrived.gutted,we were so looking forward to the trip, still our 10 month old slept through it all, even thursady when i was outside at 3am taking the gazebo down before it took off.lol
You were just teasing me Fostermum with Elsie weren't you (Mantrachant - we are both on the same hunt.)
And just how do you pitch so neatly? I want you to put up Esther for me as I never get the back edges smooth which drives me mad. It looks very snug and I like her eyelashes too!
It looks like you all had a lovely weekend: as it's not far from me I must check it out
