I agree; I couldn't camp in a blue synthetic tent - I find them oppressive - and yet found our blue/yellow/white Cabanon Laguna bright and summery!
Loved our Cabanon Barbados in cream canvas with green front and blue trim, but hate the latest one in green canvas with cream front and grey trim! My ideal would be one in cream canvas with grey front and black trim (I'd order one tomorrow, if they did that colour Barbados for 2013!) I think it would look cool and modern, yet still traditional (does that make sense?).

Yes Lidds - I'm with you there - I love my Guadeloupe colours (same as your Barbados) but hate the new greeny colour canvas too! And your colour choice for your ideal tent - well that sounds cool to me!

I've just spent a weekend in my cosy blue tent, and rather than it being depressing it actually made me think the weather outside was brighter than it was - on Sunday morning I could have sworn it was sunshining but when i looked out it was actually very grey and trying to rain.

I like the "knittet" tent - nearly the colour of my new tent!

Got a blue Outwell Colorado 5 & was never bothered by the colour one way or another then bought the new Outwell Colorado 5 as wanted a SIG & it's orange. Makes me smile every time.

For my tents, I only like green. Our first tent was blue Blacks tent in 2004, this was replaced by a Coleman Ceder Creek 5 which was green in 2008. This was replaced with our current Montana 6P last year.

If you aren't sure which colour to go for then have them all!
Boutique camping are introducing a bell tent with pretty much every panel a different colour.

Well, it's more violet, but definitely a colour that will make me feel like being under water... 
. Just big enought to be luxury for solo camping and comfortable for my daughters and me.
