Won the lake on eBay for £410, used two weeks, seller seems good - selling s buying an Outwell inflatable. Picking it up this weekend. I also gave up on Somerset at the weekend so went second hand.
Bought the same carpet as you, it came today. Just need a footprint.
Bill is £620 at the moment including the front extension.
Only reason I went against the filey was the groundsheet being sewn in and the canopy not being detachable.

The thing I like with the Kampa front canopies, and this was a selling point for us, is that although they are fixed to the tent if not required they can simply be rolled back and tied up so best of both worlds and so much nicer than add canopies as you dont have gaps down the sides or material flapping on the roof
