Just booked my first trip of 2013 to test my newly aquired Hi gear Rock 5, and see how the dog takes to camping.
Only a localish trip to Ty Mawr, Abergele (Park Resorts) for 2 nights in March (25-27th). But already looking forward to getting the first trip of 2013 underway.
Edit: Forgot to say, only costing me £14 (£6 per night for me, £1 pn for the dog).
Perhaps they thought they would let you have it at a cheap price due to the amusement they will get from watching you trying to get it back in the bag and the £250 from youve been framed when the video goes on air

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
I booked a few nights ago too, it's in May and I'm sure I'll be camping before then but actually making the first booking of the year is very satisfying for some reason.

I have my dark glasses and fake beard at the ready. :)
I am hoping the straps I have ordered make the process easier, otherwise it practising everyday until the end of March.
I'm jealous! Although we have spent this afternoon looking at possible sites for our "Summer" holiday in June. Think we've almost decided now but need to get the leave from work authorised before we book it. Will be going away for some weekends before then though but we don't usually book them, just go when we get the bug!

We are heading up to Glencoe at the end of the month to meet up with Jim Call and Jellboy. Really looking forward to our first winter camp with no EHU!

Aye...There is something special about booking that 1st trip away....Think its to do with the fact we have been cooped up all winter...Booking that 1st trip gives us something to look forward to.....
