after trying to find a site close to home as to go camping this fri - sun..after having a second bout of the man-flu, from coming off nights last saturday, up to today , apart from dog walking or nipping to the local shop iv been confined to the house..i saw the doctor yesterday and after an examination hes advised me not to camp..my chest is wheezing like mad..im sneezing and generaly aching.. but im still up for it..but in my heart saying go ..but in my head i know it would make me worst..im going to get better then go another time..such is life.stewey

That is a real shame but better to get healthy than stay out in the cold and snow and make yourself worse.

cheers rt..i done a solo camp a few weeks ago when the temps dropped and i put on a post saying how lovely and warm i was in my tfg 5 season bag..iv just got a new jrc 3d box 5 season bag and was going to try it outdoors this weekend..my plans well and truly scuppered..still i must be ill iv not had a beer in 10 days and wont be going to club till i feel better...i must be ill !

I agree,put ur tent up inside and feel the vibes,I'm single camping but I think I will let the snow go first.Failing that u could go to Decathlon,Winwick Rd and sit in one of their demmo tents lol,julie

I know what you mean mate. I have had three chest infections in the last three months each requiring time off work. The doctor now things I have winter asthma too. I feel mostly OK indoors but as soon as I am out in the cold I start wheezing and coughing.
