Last year we stored the trailer in the integral garage, I could load the trailer well in advance prior to leaving for holiday, then add last minute stuff night before or morning of leaving.

Over the winter we have converted our garage into a room for my teen so I've lost my trailer storage spot

The plan now is to pull everything together and store in the dining room until ready to load in trailer (which is kept covered over next to my driveway, makes for more hassle on morning before leaving *sigh*

I used to live in a 3rd floor flat, so once we had got past the obstacle of the 3 flights of stairs (no lifts) we then had to walk quite a distance to get to the car also. We recently moved into a terraced house not always ideal but better than what we had!

We limit the journeys to/from the car.

If everything fits into four big squishy bags, it takes seconds to pack or unpack.

The worst thing possible is lots of little single items stuffed away in corners.

I'm so lucky we're In A four storey modern terrace. Our garden you could fit on a postage stamp, but we have an integral garage and double length drive. Trailer is in the garage, needs re organising, tent and bags are in first floor under stairs cupboard. I'd like a bigger private garden though

My car's parked about 300 metres away and down 39 steps. It's just one of those things you have to do. I quite enjoy it. My packing priority is good.
