Does anyone know where I can see a Vango Amazon 800 in the flesh?

I think it would be the ideal tent for us but OH is reluctant to buy without seeing it first.

I cannot help you, sorry.  But your OH is very wise.   I am sure someone may help.  The camping shops will be putting up their tents.  Go Out doors ect.

Phone a few camping shops to see if they have one on display although are Vango still making the 800

The Amazon range is discontinued and the 800 has been for a few years. Take a look at the Kampa Croyde 8 Series 2 tent, there are a few vids on youtube as well. If you like Vango then the Astoria 800 will sleep a lot of people and has a huge living area.
Most tent displays start to go up now ready for mid March, I doubt you will see an Amazon anywhere though.

There was an Amazon 800 released last season (2012) This one is the one I'm looking at, but thanks for the suggestions.

         Cant help you where to see a amazon 800 in the flesh,but can only recommend the vango signature range.I bought the amazon 400 for myself and OH last year and can only say the quality is fantastic and can highly recommend the signature range.I paid £489 last May for mine,now you can pick them up for a good price.

we also have a vango signature range (the monteverde 900)and are very very impressed with the quality and detailing.

Doesn't help with seeing one locally. PJ Camping have them on clearance at the moment for £420.

Also states they have an year round display if tents. Might be worth (unless you find a closer retailer| seeing if they have the amazon up.
