we're off to Billing Aquadrome.

hi preece181913
i live just 2 mins away from billing Aquadrome, if the wind blows the wrong way, all you will smell is sewage, as there is a sewage treatment plant just across the road, not nice when you want to tuck in to a fryed breakfast, the only good thing that goes for it,is the new indoor complex they built, and yes it does flood, if we get 2 days of rain then you might aswell pack up and go home, as it will flood and you will be told to leave the park, and be careful of valuables people can just walk on at any time.

Unity at Brean Sands. Always visit this site with a group who have children so all the on site entertainment is fad. The land train that goes round the fields picking up is good but its not far to walk.

Now I may be wrong and I'm sure I will get lots of comments, but looking at all these posts, it seems to me that most of you come from the Midlands and the North and seem to be a hardy lot, not like me and hubby from "down south" who just can't bear the thought of cold wet camping, which seems to be the norm at this time of year!!!  We probably won't even think of camping until at least May, when hopefully there will be some sunshine!!

Funny you should say that Jogor, I was think exactly the opposite, looking at all the sites people are going to and feeling a bit gutted that most of them are too far from us for a weekend trip.

Don't know about hardy Northerners, I know I will be packing my beer jacket!

Off to St Aubin in France for Easter but staying in a static. Looking forward to the better weather as bought a Vango Airbeam Infinity 800 and have not even had a test put up in the garden yet. Hopeful for May Bank Holiday to be the test run and then off to Valras Plage with it in the Summer.

A hardy one from Kent here! I believe it is 23 years of owning a horse and having no choice but being out in all weathers that has done it!!

We are off to Chestnut Meadows, Bexhill. Heard fab things about it!

Well done MadMum. It's not really the actual weather that's puts us off; I am out with the dog all the time, but it's just drying a polycotton tent out when we get home, ugh!  However, with our weather, if we want to go camping, we may have to do it rain and all unless we go to France or Spain, which is a very tempting possibility.
