Hi all

I'm looking to buy a 2013 Outwell Montana 6P tent, footprint and carpet set.

So far, by taking advantage of the Go Outdoors promise to beat cheaper prices by 10%, I've got it down to £674.97 by beating prices on outdoorworld.co.uk.

Does anyone know anywhere I can get a better price ?

I know Quidco are offering a few percent cashback from Go Outdoors, but I think to get the price above I have to pay in store or by phone - so can't go via Quidco - unless anyone knows different !

Its worth a trip to your nearest GO, they quite often have display models at reduced prices, as we found out last night. Totally pot luck, though, you wont know either way until you get there, but there was definitely an Outwell one at the Wakefield store reduced to £400 for the display model, though i couldnt tell you which model it was, as it was bigger than we needed, so we didnt pay too much attention. Gotta be worth a trip, if theres one local to you?

Quick follow up to my original post.

Outdoorworld are currently offering the following prices if purchased together:

Outwell Montana 6P tent: £599.99 (vs Go Outdoors price: 624.50)
Outwell Montana 6P footprint: £39.99 (vs Go Outdoors price: 54.00)
Outwell Montana 6P carpet: £89.99 (vs Go Outdoors price: 102.00)

The total price from Outdoorworld is £729.97.

So - apply the 10% price guarantee from Go Outdoors, and the revised price is £656.97.

If you contact Go Outdoors online and ask for that price match, they should agree (assuming outdoorworld don't change their prices) within a day or so. Then the offer is valid for 7 days - so you can either go and buy it, or spend (almost) another week hunting down even cheaper competitors...
