We was meant to be going on our first camping trip of the year this weekend, but have had to cancel :(

But not long to wait till our next one on 10th May at Scotts Farm.

Don't you just hate it when plans have to be cancelled!

Yes! I hate it when we've planned something and then have to change the plans! Last year our Range Rover failed it's MOT three days before we were due to go on holiday....had to delay almost a week (campsite were very flexible which was great)by the time it was fixed in brilliant sunshine we camped in rain for the following week Grrrr lol

Aww that sucks Atleast you dont have to wait very long until your next trip. We're looking at getting away sometime in May for a few nights..cant wait!

If we didn't have a trip planned in a couple of weeks I'd be really disappointed, but not long to wait and hopefully it'll be a lot warmer!

I've no hot water at home and the plumber is coming Saturday, so it couldn't be avoided

I have only cancelled once, and it was over the New Year last year, as weather was cold, windy and wet.

Don't mind the cold and the wind like the weather we had over Easter down here, however, it is soul destroying when it is wet.

Nothing worse than weeks of anticipation...Then having to cancel for whatever reason...I'm off camping next weekend...Been looking forward to it for months...Would be disappointed if I had to cancel at this late stage...

I do feel for you - I was going to go to a local site this weekend, as a surprise for the kids, as well as a much needed camp for me.   Glad I didn't book as Alice came home from school on Tuesday with the stomach bug from hell - which she has kindly shared with the rest of us.

I feel your pain!

We had a wigwam at humble bee farm in scarborough booked over the easter and had to cancel and little one had a chest infection.

think I was more gutted than he was!!

Here's to our next trip!

The worse thing is I've still got no hot water, the plumber didn't show up!
