can recommend the ASDA lanterns , have got three myself and used them May Day weekend . Great with variable light . Also got the solar powered light strand (great for door or guy lines) 17

Dont forget tho ehu costs about 2 pound a night,lots of other uses too!

at ringo - which site charges 2 pounds a night?

2 pounds a night is not a uk country-wide government set and laid down charge for ehu!

some sites its included in the price - others can be more than twice that.

one site iv just been to have installed meters - you can choose to use 2 pounds of electricity a night if you so wish!.

I'm impressed it came with batteries too, we had already bought some small lanterns for our daughters and hubby got himself some fancy gadget light that he is impressed with but I am more than happy with my Asda purchase!

Seem to have spent a fortune on camping stuff and it is our first time so that may have been a little silly. Really looking forward to it though.
