we're heading back to my homeland (Cornwall) for a week as my dad still lives there...he's not in the best of health and is no longer able to go camping, so we've decided to bring the camping experience to his doorstep...we can pick him up first thing in the morning, treat him to days packed with camping fun and frolics and then take him home at night so he can sleep in his own bed...we'll be heading down there no matter what the weather may throw at us, tho right now i'm desperately praying for at least a little bit of sun...!!

We have an electric pitch booked, so not so worried about the cold - but I am a more worried about wind.
B.H. Monday is looking blustery according to Accuweather (force 6 gusts). Its deja-vu all over again. But as others have pointed out, the forecast changes by the hour so looking at it before 24th only fuels anxiety!
look you cant tell tell the weather for this weekend...let alone next week, its no good looking at these long range sites, they are all crap, and will change everyday....just wait and hope its mainly dry with light winds....
Yes we will be going whatever (unless it's gale-force winds). Just hoping for mostly dry and not too cold - that'll do us. Although something like last bank holiday weekend would certainly be incredible!
So looking forward to getting away I don't care any more. Hope you all enjoy your trips and here's to a bit of sun
Had 70mph wind Jubilee week last year, survived, arrived at campsite for Easter weekend and it snowed. If camping is your escape of choice you just got to prepare for the worst and hope for the best!
