I've done it again, purchased a secondhand tent from a well known auctionsite and its got mildew.I done this with a Nebraska two years ago.
Apart from the bad case of mould/mildew its got a couple of holes in the fabric,I'm after a repair patch that's the same colour as the main tent,if anyone can advise where to get one that would be great.
The mildew I'm going to tackle with Milton as I did quite successfully with the outwell, then tent cleaner followed by a couple of coats of fabsil.mend the other niggly bits then hopefully should have a good tent,it doesn't leak like the out well did, that resembled a pond! It came with a footprint and a carpet so all in all a nice set up ( once repaired and cleaned)!
Another vote for tenacious tape but I must say I think you are developing a mildew fetish and should seek help asap
------------- Experience enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.
Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
Arsenaldes I do believe you could be correct there,if you know of any mouldy tents going cheap.....think I need rehab, either that or only purchase tents that I have seen up!
