Camping next week, come to Chorley. Here is the weather forecast by the amateur Chorleyweather who posts on Twitter and is far more reliable than the Met Office. Their mottot is:

Their forecast for Chorley next week is:

Yeah. Home Farm is about four miles out of town at the foot of Rivington. Being so close to where I live, I haven't camped there, but I have walked down to have a look when I have been returning from Rivington Pike and it looks quite a decent site.

Until about twenty years ago the motto was "Beware". It was changed because the yuppie who ran the town at the time (can't remember his name) thought it was too negative!
