As the trailer has not been used for two years we have been giving it a bit of an overhaul and check. We are wanting to replace the tyres/wheels just to be on the safe side.
Is it possible to get just new tyres or is it best to get complete new wheels?
Also, where is best to get them from? I have been looking online but I'm a bit confused by it all.
do you really need to change the tyres & wheels? if you have an honest tyre fitter locally may be worth asking their opinion.
If tyres have legal tread and not showing signs of perishing why change them? also wheels tend to rust so if showing signs of age on the outside may be a good idea to remove the tyres to see the inside, they can be sanded down, primed and sprayed to look as good as new. I would be just as concerned about bearings & grease and such.
I would personally renew the tyres, if its been sitting in the same spot for 2 years with the weight on one point of the tyres and open to the elements, unless it has been up on jacks and tyres off the ground and inside a garage or similar.
Looking at the tyres is not really a good indication if they are ok, some of the damage if any, could be on the inside as well.
Agree about the wheels , bearings etc.
The reason I say this is that I went through this dilema myself and one of my sons friends works in a tyre depot and thats what he advised, you may get away with it or maybe not, is it worth the risk.

Vangoman - yeh, we looked at them today and one has a small crack appearing in between the tread so we'd rather change them tbh. It's not worth the risk.
Lummo - thanks for the link, will have better look at it later. Will also be checking bearing etc too.
