hi there - my porch came with no poles - I don't think its very difficult to obtain them but I don't know what we're looking for!!!!! Are they normal tent poles or are there special poles for the porch - can someone send a link as to what Im supposed to buy?? Off camping in a fortnight!!!!! xxxx
ps its a kalahari porch if that matters!

Not sure which tent you have but if you have square doors that unzip from the bottom and you roll them up then this is what you need to make a porch out of it.

Thank you so much for replying......we have an actual porch to attach to the tent - both are Kalahari - we have poles for the tent but don't know if the same poles are interchangeable with the porch or if we have to buy something new!! Are porch poles for a separate porch attachment different to tent poles???

surely some poles are missing if you bought a tent with porch attached. Ask retailer?

Go Outdoors are the only place that sells the Kalahari Porch if youre lucky they may have some spare poles lying around if not youre stuck with a poleless porch

Gosh - that's a bit of a shock - I thought porch poles were easily obtained like tent poles
it was a friends porch - I already had the tent - and he couldn't get on with putting it up (he's elderly)one porch pole had snapped so I just took the porch when it was offered thinking I could easily replace!!!
How strange that porch poles are so hard to get - looks like Im porchless then I guess!!

If someone else has the same pitch they could tell you the diameter, length and number of sections that make up each pole. Then buy the relevant number of sections and shock cord and string them yourself. Tent stores or tentspares.co.uk sell them. The original pole from your friend will be fixable too more than likely.
