Right i placed an ad on a few well know selling sites.So now i have this woman who has asked for the item to be posted to her without viewing.She happy to pay what im asking and the postal charge.I have described honestly what it is and the condition.
Just seems odd that she is will ing to buy without viewing.Should i smell a rat?

Make sure her payment is cleared by your bank then go on ahead and post it! Maybe you have put too small a price on it, she knows this and wants it ASAP, or it might be someone who has been looking for your model of tent to use as spares for her own, or maybe she's fancied that model for some time. Who knows! It doesn't really matter, as long as your payment goes through.

Its only a fly sheet so its not a large price.I can see if she has the rest of it and her got damaged or ripped.

I sold a Outwell Clearlake tent for quite a lot of money! via eBay and the same day had a lady ask if she could buy it for the price I asked, unseen and posted to Kent, she would pay the postage too, seemed too good to be true but after a few emailed conversations turned out she had just always wanted one and as they had been discontinued she could not get hold of one, made her day when mine popped up for sale! i just waited for the payment ti clear before posting. Lovely lady and smooth transaction so all happy!

Ive sold loads of camping gear unseen and sent by courier, tents, sleeping bags, carpets, extensions etc etc etc never had a problem yet.

I too would buy unseen if it wasn't a huge amount of money.
Especially if the advert mentioned any possible flaws, I would then presume I wasn't being had.

I've bought loads of stuff unseen, never had a problem.
I bought a Cabanon Calais, and the chap could not believe I did not want it taken out of the bag when I went to collect it. In fact he insisted that he pitched it so I could check it all out. We met half way, he set up the frame, and I just unfolded the tent fabric a bit. I do check the feedback where possible though.
