Good afternoon

We have bought some fairy lights yesterday from B&M 2 for £10 but I read a review on here that they didn't last 2 visits so will be taking them back for a refund.

Can anyone please advise on good quality fairy lights?

You get what you pay for so rather buy good now to last us.

UK Solar Seller - Ebay

I've brought lights from this seller before. Solar for the garden, and electric for the house, and they are fine. The solar ones have been going for a few years over winter as well.

Thanks for all the tips. Just popped into Maplin and they have multi 18m 200 led for £14.99, was £24.99.

Our B&M ones have been great and so far lasted 3 years. My daughter has some flower ones from there beside her bad and we've had them 2 years. I even have ones in the garden full time that have lasted that long. I'm guessing whoever had trouble with them was either very unlucky or very careless.

Peppermintcreams, do these kits from eBay come with all thats required? As in charger/battery and lights? I know I'm being dumb here.

We got ours 3 years ago from Poundstretcher and they are still going strong, paid £7.99 per set or 2 sets for £12.

Mine were from sainsburys, had them a couple years and still going strong (I hope, need them for the weekend!)

I think the PCB lights are what our Cub leaders use at camp, they run them off a car battery and a solar charger, mind you they've got a lot of them in the marquee.
