well our 1st weekend with the monty wwent like this , tent pitched ok and was very happy , about an hour with the guying etc , asked oh to get kettle on , for a much earned brew, no problem said she, where is the teabags sugar and coffee  i thought you had packed them ?? erm no  off to find a supermarket oh goes in , i sit in car with dogs and aircon running , out she comes , back to site !! she has forgot coffee  , back to shop, finally get to relax , darkness creeps in , no problem switch light on ?? oops no bulb , ok dig out gas lantern !! o dear, gas mantle disintigrated and no spare  , ahh but we have headtorches  , ok no batteries  hmmm off to bed it is then

Oh well! At least you know what to pack first next time!
I KNOW we are going to forget something this weekend. I just don't know what it will be yet. But I keep telling myself that as long as we have somewhere to sleep, then we are only going to Cheshire. Not Outer Mongolia. Whatever we need I'm sure I can find a 24 hr Tesco that will have it!
Our last holiday, two weeks in Norfolk, my hubby forgot to pack the electronics box. We had no iPad, no phone chargers, no food mixer, no hair dryer, no anything that needed any kind of electric. (This was a cottage not a tent, just to add, I wouldn't take my food mixer in a tent!!)
I didn't really care, but my hubby and son went into iPad withdrawal within about 2 hours of arrival! He even started looking into how much it would cost to get a courier to pick it up and bring it to us!!
